Principal Executive Officer
Rahul Fernandes has a Master’s Degree in Professional Accounting & Business Administration coupled with over 7 years experience in RTO Marketing Management and Operations. Rahul also has previous experience in Retail Sales and Corporate Social Responsibility.
An aficionado of performing arts, Rahul enjoys both watching and participating in plays and playing sports in his spare time.
Manager, Student service
Andrea manages Records, Reporting and also assists with maintaining campus administration and compliance. Andrea has completed her Masters majoring in Commerce and Finance and now enjoys working in the busy CTI campus environment.
Andrea takes great pride in providing the highest standard of service to CTI students. Her friendly personal style enables her to easily interact with students and staff and she is a highly committed and efficient member of the CTI team.
In her spare time Andrea has a knack for cooking and likes to sharpen her culinary skills especially when it comes to baking and desserts. She also likes to read Crime and Mystery novels in her free.
Wan Soo Yoo
Information technology manager
Wan has been with CTI since March 2009 as an IT Helpdesk/Manager after completing a Diploma Degree in IT Networking. Prior to joining CTI, he also gained a Bachelor of Information Electronic Engineering and worked as a System Engineer for IT Company in South Korea where he discovered his love for the IT field.

Marketing manager – Latin America
After completing an internationally recognised Bachelor degree in Business, the key area of my work experience locally has been in the role of Sales and Marketing Coordinator for a number of student agencies in the Brisbane CBD, which required me to educate and assist international students on a range of topics including Visa requirements, educational opportunities and living arrangements.
Outside of my working life my interests are cinema, spending time with my puppy and keeping a healthy lifestyle.
Software development trainer
With a Bachelor of Science degree, Shushant started his career in the Indian Army as an officer and awarded the 3rd highest gallantry award by the President of India for counter insurgency operations, he was also in-charge of training men under his command.
After the Army he joined the Bank of India looking after security and administration and security of merchant card databases and also lectured on IT Security issues a the Bank’s Staff Training College.
After arriving in Australia he became a VET IT Trainer. Shushant’s IT skills range from Networking and Programming to customising Customer Relationship Management software. Lately he has worked as an IT consultant on various government contracts.
Digital and interactive games trainer
With a Bachelor of Interactive Entertainment and 7 years of Experience in the games industry, Lindsay has worked for a number of game companies locally and internationally. His range of skills include 3D/2D Art and Animation, Mobile production, and game design. With these skills at his disposal, he managed to publish a small mobile game on the Android and iOS market.
His passion for games has never extinguished, and has always been motivated to try new things related to his field.
Head of Hospitality training
Damien has hospitality qualifications ranging from Certificate III to Diploma of Hospitality. Also Damien has completed the London’s City and Guilds Certificate IV professional cookery and Certificate III wine studies as well as the Training and Assessment Certificate IV.
With over 20 years hospitality industry experience, in various areas of hotels and restaurants, Damien is still actively involved in working with restaurants in a consultancy basis.
Damien is also involved in his own business, producing hospitality marketing videos and writes for various food magazines throughout Brisbane.
Interests include stand up paddle boarding, reading, environmental studies and producing documentaries.
For Jas, a perfect day in class consists of concept discussions, interactive activities and watching students friendships blossom. She has a passion of educating in fun and creative ways, bringing an innovative approach to teaching adult learners.
Jas is well qualified and is also completing a Degree in Commerce. She has worked in the hospitality industry for over 10 years and also runs her own Dessert Business and Health Coaching Service. Jas spends spare time on bush walks, art projects or a good book.

Head of Commercial Cookery training
Last year Mark completed a Graduate Certificate in Environmental Health Science and is continuing this year with some study in microbiology, immunology, and genetics.
Mark also holds a Diploma of Hospitality, Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, Certificate III in Pastry and Baking, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment along with a range of minor Qualifications in Food Safety Auditing and Chemistry.
His professional hospitality experience spans 30 years both front and back of house from small food and beverage business through to large hotels and stadiums.
Mark also runs his own food safety auditing and consultancy business when he is not Training our CTI students.
Leisure interests include regularly going to see live metal and proper rock bands play, riding his Ducati and eating out.
Commercial Cookery trainer
Louie is an experienced Restaurant Owner with 25 years’ experience, having been trained in some of the best restaurants, hotels and catering companies. Louie can deliver the ultimate fine dining experience in the comfort of his restaurant, your home or your choice of venue that will tantalise the taste buds of any of your guests. Using only the best suppliers, products, ingredients and my own recipes to deliver a fantastic event that you and your guests will love.
Louie also holds a Certificate III in commercial cookery, Diploma of hospitality, Diploma of management, Certificate IV in training and assessment.
Commercial Cookery trainer
Originally from Germany, Gerda came to Australia in 1986 after working for a few years in London and Johannesburg, South Africa. As a professional Executive Chef with a Master chef’s degree in a 5-star establishment, she has enjoyed a successful and rewarding career working with five-star Hotel chains such as Westin Hotels, Kempinski Hotels and Hilton International.
Gerda has worked with and earned the trust and respect of many international acclaimed Chefs, including but by no means limited to: Gordon Ramsay, Anton Mosimann, Damion Pignolet, Cheong Liew and David Thompson.
Gerda measures her greatest achievements by the success of students and apprentices she has trained over the years, many of them are now successful Restaurant owners, Television chefs and 5star Hotel Executive chefs.
Head of Business & Management training
Tui has over 20 years experience working in State Government in various departments such as Transport and Main Roads, TransLink, Office of Fair Trading and Department of Justice and Attorney-General.
Tui also has experience in administrative support with Supervisory, Managerial and Leadership role experience including managing teams in business support, HR, finance and IT in small and medium size business in fast paced environments.
Tui holds a Bachelor in Applied Management and will be undertaking an MBA during 2018.
Management & Business trainer
Monique Jeremiah is a highly experienced and passionate entrepreneur within the higher education, employment and most recently student accommodation and real estate industry in Australia. Holding a Bachelor of Business (majoring in human resources and industrial relations), a Certificate IV in Small Business Management, a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and a full real estate licence in Queensland, she is excited about sharing her hands on experiences in marketing, public relations, leadership and entrepreneurship.
With a strong social personality and a natural love of public speaking, she has taught within the university and RTO sector close to a decade. With a love for success, she enjoys motivating and bringing out the best in everyone in her presence. She is also currently winner and title holder of 2017 Ms Powerwoman Australia (Petite) due to her business acumen and her goal to inspire women.
Monique is a dynamic individual who holds a wide range of interests including latin dancing, song writing, speaking on stage at live events and attending any business, property, social or community events.
Leadership and Management trainer
Craig Hill holds a Graduate Certificate in Education (TESOL), Bachelor of Training and Development (Management), Advanced Diploma of Adult Education, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Certificate IV in Accounting and Certificate IV in Media and Communication.
He has worked in management positions in various industry sectors including education, health, security, construction, retail and community services, as well as on Aboriginal communities. He spent more than three years in China as a corporate training consultant and trainer for Fortune 500 companies, with some time spent teaching management at Chinese universities. He is currently teaching management courses in Australia and editing an online news site.
His hobbies include photography, writing, blogging, politics, current affairs, collecting old TV shows and occasional trips to the gym (though not as much as he should).
